Does Gary Seven have a boss?

A whole race of them, on a distant, hidden planet.

The black borders really punch up the page.  I remember that you used this effect during the earlier half of you WW run, and I really liked it there too.  The borders and the number of panels give the page a very "mosiac" feel.

Is there something more than filling blacks going on in the "processing?"  I ask because all the lines seem darker in the processed image, but I can't tell if they were actually darkened or if this is just a visual effect created by the black borders.

The lines are, indeed, darker. I scan at a fairly light tone, mostly for the
commission pieces that I post. On the comicbook pages, I have lately
started taking advantage of a function in Photoshop that allows the paint
can to "pour" into all areas that are a particular color, not just those that are
contiguous. So I click on the dark grey with a black and they all become
blacker.

Not sure -- tho just today I was noting that, if I had not dropped an issue of
ROMULANS into the sequence, I would actually be finishing all of
ASSIGNMENT: EARTH (five issues) before the first one comes out!

Something I have long admired about JB's work is that he does such a good job placing the characters in natural settings and poses. I am looking forward to this series JB!

So far, no complaints.

(Well -- this is ME, so obviously SOME complaints! But all rectified!)
