Picked up issue 3 today -- all I can say is that Wayne and I must have read the same comics and watched the same sci-fi / horror growing up.   I'm really enjoying this story - simple fun and a real good time.

No spoilers, again, but I can definitely see some major back stories that I want to see make print one day !!

Good job, guys.

How the devil are you getting comic books a day early?

My LCS unpacks books when they arrive on Tuesdays, usually during my lunch hour if UPS is on time.  He stocks the shelf after close for Wednesday sales.  I've known this guy for about 15 years (since he was a 15 y.o. kid working part-time at the movie theater and part-time at this comic shop (he now runs) - a couple of us get books on Tuesday 'cause we is c'nectid....we also get first shot at all the incentive covers and crap like that !!!!

Wayne ---

Odd choices of colors in this issue -- your doing, or something the "Colour Shoppe" came up with?

Great Scott! I've known one of my LCS owners since 1985, I need to try to make your kind of deal Steven.

When the kid worked at the cinema, he was the guy who checked the prints and ran them at night when they arrived.  For a couple years my (then) girlfriend and I would get private screenings of films a couple days before they opened - granted it was at 2 AM, but it was awesome.

Now back to our regular scheduled program....FX #3

Which colors are you talking about in particular, Steven?

I'm glad you liked it - and just so you know, you're seeing it before I am.
IDW forgot to send me an advance copy this time.

Nothing bad -- but take the cover -- BIG purple and BIG orange -- you just don't see them together that prominently all the time -- some of the interior pages do the same thing.

I was just curious on the process about color choices and color editing -- who says what to who and that type of thing.

Aaahhh...  So there'll be a nice little surprise for me when I finally make it to my LCS this evening!
