As a follow-up to THIS piece, Scott Green asked for an aftermath shot, modeled on the cover to FF249.

Here are a couple of digital photos of the pencils in progress (sorry for the poor quality, hard to get the light gray of the lead to show up)…

…and here's the finished product (reduced).

The full-sized scan is eWinging it's way to our own Christos Seros for posting.

20x30inches

Nice.  Amazing textures on this one.

I think Scott will be pleased with how this came out...o.k. I'm in to understatements.

Man, I really wish you'd stayed on HULK so we could've seen more of your Abomination.

That's a more impressive victory than Superman over the FF.  Those are all heavy hitters that only raw savagery could over come.

Scott's other commission has been my favorite Hulk piece you've done.  This definitely stands shoulder to shoulder with that one.  Gorgeous work.  Congrats to Scott and thanks for sharing!

JB,

This may be the best drawing I have ever seen you do.

I'm serious.

This is fantastic.

HULK WIN (and so does Scott!!!)  Wow, I love the ferociousness in the Hulk's face and the various textures in the Abombination, Rhino, and Sandman.  Plus, you shared your early pencils on this one too, an extra treat!  What a way to kickoff the release of the new Incredible Hulk movie with an INCREDIBLE work of Hulk art!

As always John, thank you very much.  Best...

I'm really digging FX and Assignment Earth, but, lord a'mighty, these commissions make me miss your Marvel and DC work more and more.  This piece is absoultely stunning.
