And once more I find myself enjoying the newest issue more than I did the
previous one. This is quite a good trend.

Personally, I completely love the coloring. Especially the use of strong clashing colors to create contrast in some cases. The only complain I'd have is that there's been a bit too much of evil mind control for my taste though. ;}

About paper options, Ashley Wood's IDW stuff's printed on matte paper, it looks great. He did some new one just a month ago.

I went by my LCS earlier this week, not so much believing that I'd be lucky enough for issue 5 to there yet, but perhaps at least they would've gotten my missing issue 3 which they were gonna re-order as it never showed up. But no, nothing yet, nothing at all.  :(

Hadn't even heard that a second series was secured. Any particular reason that JB won't be joining you this time around, Wayne?

I just picked mine up, it's the best issue of the run so far! John's art was particularly fantastic in this issue. Wayne, you are doing a good job with the writing, it seems to have a bit better flow than the earlier in the series, well done. Keep living the dream!!

Joe - #6 is 24 pages but all but the first and the last are double spreads so
there's that going for it.

Joakim - John's plate seems to be pretty full with his other IDW work.

Martin - I'll check on the paper.

And thanks again to you all.

Over the holiday weekend I am going to read issue #5 I am really looking forward to it, I am saving it until the 4th, I will have about 2 hours thru the day when NO ONE will be in the house and I am pumped for a little quiet reading. I will be sad when this series is over.

Wayne - I suspected that could be the case (especially considering the whole John Byrne's Star Trek angle), but I didn't want to assume. You'll have to keep us all posted up what happens with FX somehow though. After all, JB designed the characters so it's only natural that the lot of us will be interested in seeing where things go even when JB isn't around (and here's hoping he'll do another mini or special with you somewhere down the line). Anyway, glad to hear your journey's just begun and hope your further collaborations will be good as well.

Well, if you've missed it, we're obviously blind both of us, because I've seen no clear reference to a where either, Paul. Then again, I didn't even know the beans were spilled anywhere to begin with, so...

My suggestion, Wayne, would be to ask JB to do the covers (probably with Bob inking them), so he would still be involved with the project. I imagine John could squeeze half a dozen covers in his schedule.
That way, FX would have a better passage from the Byrne look to the McLeod one, and we could still talk about it here...

I just read the latest issue, and it may have just supplanted the last one as
my favorite! Is it wrong of me to like the Foundation members as much as (if
not more than) the title character?
