I mean, the stripes bother me, but an improvement, nevertheless.

Better than the blue and yellow duds, but not as good as the JB version.

Dark brown with yellow stripes, maybe? Black for boot tips, shoulders and "ears".

Love it. Love the stripes. Was sorry to see them go.

Only thing I hesitate about is the tops of the boots...I never understood the sharp things even as ornamentation.

Here's the same treatment with Logan's current costume.

How tall is Logan supposed to be in that image? 6'? 7? He looks enormous. His right hand is covering her arm from the base of the shoulder all the way to the elbow, and his left fist is as big as her head.

Yeah, I'd say JB wins...

Flavio,

Think of them as representing claws!

This topic reminds me of times long past.
My first acquaintance with Logan was in X-Men #125. After that, I lost about a year and when next I saw him, he had the brown-orange costume. A few years later, the Greek edition of Spider-Man was printing in black&white the Amazing Spider-Man issues, and in particular the issue with Nightcrawler and Punisher. Since it was b&w, my friend and I were obsessed with coloring them. But, I had sold #125 and had no refernce to the old scheme color. So, I improvised and ended up with the color configuration posted above by Anthony...
To tell the truth, I prefer the Byrne costume, but were I to choose the color scheme for the original, I would stick with the blue and yellow, for old times sake.
