This is very good. I like the texture, and use of space. You really filled the page with this one.

Strange naming JB; what is the association to the obscure festival?

••

Main Entry:
Wal·pur·gis Night
Pronunciation:
\väl-ˈpu̇r-gəs-\
Function:
noun
Etymology:
part translation of German Walpurgisnacht, from Walpurgis St. Walburga
dieda.d. 779 English saint whose feast day falls on May Day + German
Nacht night
Date:
1823
1 : the eve of May Day on which witches are held to ride to an appointed
rendezvous
2 : something (as an event or situation) having a nightmarish quality

The man (Byrne) is smart, clever, has a quick wit and amazingly talented.

Looks like you could reach out and grab GG hand. Amazing job!

I don't necessarily "see" the Joker in Goblin's face, what I do "see" is me wanting a JB Elseworlds with BOTH the Joke and the Green Goblin!!!

Awesome commission; very luck owner indeed!

Great composition and I really like the creepiness of his expression.

Were the "scales" of his costume freehanded? They all seem the same size.

The Green Goblin falls into the same category as the Abomination, for me. (Green skin and scales are not a factor!) He came along after I "quit" reading comics, and when I returned, I wondered what all the fuss was about. (The first issue I picked up after my interregnum was the Death of Gwen Stacy. Needless to say, much of its intended emotional impact was lost on me!)

For me, Spider-Man's Number One Foe is Doctor Octopus, and ever shall be!*

*Roger Stern has often said he thinks the Vulture should have evolved into being Parker's worst enemy. Roger sees their dynamic as a classic example of youth versus age. Funny thing was, until the first time he mentioned this, lo these many years ago, I had not thought of the Vulture as an old guy. Just one of those weird looking Ditko characters.
