I have a ton of affection for Deathlok and you've rendered him perfectly.

••

I liked Deathlok when he first appeared. I have a fondness for that kind of
post-apocalyptic stuff. Unfortunately, he got fkd over pretty badly in the
years since -- beginning, alas, with the one and only time I got to draw a
story with him in it!

Nothing like a post-apocalyptic bad ass cyborg staring you in the face!  Nice one.

That's a really great piece JB. Deathlok definitely looks better trimmer then he does as with a body builder build. Same with Batman.

The reasons i chose to add Deathlok to the Monster collection is i believe a cyborg is the ultimate monster. Kinda like Frankenstein Monster but made with future tech. Also, one of my favorite songs by Megadeth is Psychotron. We used to listen to it in our Humvee when we where on mission in Iraq. If you've never heard it, look it up, it's the PERFECT Deathlok song!

9. Psychotron

[Mustaine]

Assassin in stealth
Assailant from Hell
Impervious to damage
Computer on-board
Engaged in a war
Non-stop combatant
Maybe not a mutant, maybe a man

Part bionic
And organic
Not a cyborg
Call him Psychotron

Burning inside
Godspeed in glide
Battle plan running
A killing machine
Just downright mean
And forever cunning
Maybe not a mutant, maybe a man

[Chorus]

Target to destroy
Arms in employ
Full assault fire threat
Sensors indicate
You will terminate
Life systems disconnect

[Chorus]

Psychotron

Love this Deathlok. I would love an OMAC style story with you at the helm-- perhaps someday...

I don't unerstand the title of this thread, though. I figured it had to do with Russ Manning, but still don't get it-- did he create Deathlok or something?
