Since this came out today, I took out "preview" from the subject heading to make it a thread about the book itself~Matt

Sadly it's the last issue (for now).

As I mentioned in another thread, this one turned out to be my favorite
issue of the series. Ironic, I suppose, since it was the one I was most
dreading, with the heavy dependence on the Nixon likenesses, plus all that
Peking/Beijing "location shooting".

Gonna miss Roberta, Mr. Seven and especially Isis. Looking forward to
starting round two a.s.a.p.

Do you find yourself surprised to miss Isis? (Thinking in terms of your
feelings about having to draw four-legged creatures).

Cats, for some reason, are easy. If you check, you will find I gave Lois Lane
a pet cat in MAN OF STEEL.

Perhaps it's the ease with which we can imagine their personalities.

Incidentally, I was just discussing the next A:E arc with Chris Ryall, at IDW,
and with all the other TREK (and ANGEL) stuff presently in the pipeline, it
looks like I won't be getting anywhere near the first issue until September
'09. This could potentially be accelerated, of course, but not by much.

So content yourself for the nonce with ANGEL, CREW, and more ROMULANS!

I will definitively have it.

One side question: what happened to the monthly thread about new Byrne books on top of the threads? Any plan to have it back to promote the new books ?

I want to make sure I don't miss any opportunity!

edited to mmake sure monthly doesn't stay mothly...
