I have some pieces framed that are not originals the exact opposite happens when we have guests over.  They all know I collect art and think the posters, whatever, are originals.  I wish!

Oddly enough, I would find this less surprising if there were fewer
pieces. But the sheer number of frames up on my walls -- not to mention
the different sizes, styles, and hues of paper -- would seem to me to be
enough to tell anyone looking that these must surely be something more
than printed posters.

Mind you, I suppose this reflects something of the lack of awareness
civilians have about The Process. As a kid, I had several Ah ha!
moments as I put together a picture in my mind of how the comics were
produced. Civilians, of course, have no real reason to have such moments.

JB, I have got the "cool prints" a few times from my ARMY buddies!

Then after I tell them they are originals, the next question is always..."Dude, how much?"

really enjoyed the interplay of the Red Skull and Magneto during the Acts

Heck, as originally portrayed, Magneto and Red Skull probably wouldn't have got along because they were too much alike!

Anyone have a scan of that?...

Edit to note: Maxon appears one more time as The Red Skull in "Captaon America Comics" #3, and (SPOILER) dies in that story.

The actual Nazi Red Skull first appears in "Captain America Comics" #7.

Huh....for some reason, it looks so strange for the panel borders to be "broken" so long ago!

In the 1940's, many comics panel borders were broken, or drawn in unconventional shapes. It seems that by the 1950s, artists became more conservative with laying out the pages.

Welcome!

OT, sorta I guess. Does anyone know if the Red Skull and the Ghost Rider have ever faced each other?
