Thanks for the answer, JB. Pieces like this are so complex to my mind. I wouldn't know how to even begin to lay out something like this, much less draw it.

Here's my thing, I have to say it.

I know there's bad blood between PTB at Marvel and JB and between JB and PTB at Marvel.  From what I read, JB's complaints are very valid.  If all that could be worked out.....

That said.  Alpha Flight is relevant today, more relevant today than it perhaps was in the 80s (and 90s).  Strong women characters, homosexuality, disabilities being overcome -- the list could go on and on.

I know that fans would flock to John Byrne back on Alpha Flight, if even for a mini-series (writen for the tradepaperback, of course).  I think there are stories to be told with Alpha Flight TODAY that can only be told with Alpha Flight.

Relevant, I tell ya.  I'd love for John Byrne to be on a book like that (again).

That trade was supposed to come out some time late last year, wasn't it?

Hello all,

I am the proud owner of this piece so I thought I'd post a picture of it framed on my wall.

AF #13 was my first comic book, and I have very fond memories of JB's run on the title.  I've followed his work ever since.  He's largely responsible for my life long addiction to the art form.

If you can't tell, my favorite character was (and still is) Sasquatch.  No one draws him as well.

Mark
