Just heard that we've lost Dave Simons. RIP, the guy was a fantastic talent.

I'd been following Dave's illness, and it had been reported he had a short time left. Didn't expect it to be this short, though.

When I think of Dave Simons, I think of those cool illustrations that were
published in FantaCo's Fantastic Four Chronicles back in the early
1980's.

I was sorry to hear he was sick some time ago. I know he was still doing commissions recently also.

Very sad news. I had read a while back that he was very sick, but I was hoping for a better outcome.

Sad news, indeed.  Dave was not a really well known name, but he worked on a great number of the books I read and loved as a kid.
