Fulton Falcons. Imagine the more simpler logo the Atlanta Falcons had before it was modified a few years ago, only maroon with a grey (supposed to be silver, but trust me....gray) outline.

The Red Raiders.  Abbreviated to Raiders in the early 90s, apparently.

I'm currious, Rick, are you from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin?

The Fargo North Spartans

Looking through the helmets from my state (North Dakota), a lot of teams are not the same as when I was in school.

*******

Wow, cool!  One of the most impressive athletes of all-time and a personal favorite of mine.  How close were you to being contemporaries with Bo?

Started high school as an Osbourn Park Yellow Jacket, graduated as a 29 Palms Wildcat (and if I had stayed in Philly I would have been a Cheltenham Panther.).

At OPHS, the most famous alum I can think of was David Robinson, who was a senior when I was a freshman and at TPHS it would probably have been Conrad Dobler, who was many, many years before my time.

We were the Howe Sound Chiefs but it was changed due to political
correctness and now they are called the Howe Sound Sounders. The emblem
use to be an Indian warrior chief and now it is a pig. How stupid is that?

Reminds me when I was at University. The school team was the University of
Victoria Vikings and the female teams were the 'Vikettes'. They decided that
'Vikings' was sexist and the teams all had to the equal so the official name
became the 'Vikes' for all male and female teams. When I asked them why
not change the female team names to the 'Valkyries' instead, I was met with
blank faces. Sometimes I really hated University.

My right clicker doesn't work so you will just have to take my politically incorrect word for it.

Went to Cocke County High School and we were the Fighting Cocks. And no, Michael Vick is not an almnus.

Hornell Red Raiders. The only famous alum we have is actor Bill Pullman. We had a guy named Bill Dugan who played for Penn State and then went into the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings. Threw it all away on drugs.
