Only Batman would swing into such a scene! And actually hope to somehow survive.

Small confession: the customer actually asked that Batman be lurking in the background, "waiting for his chance to strike", but I couldn't come up with a way to really express that without dialog. It looked like Batman was hiding!

So, how does Batman defeat Doom? Battle of wits, no doubt. He's going to make a gentleman's agreement with him to deliver something Doom wants (and needs for the people of Latveria) , then he as he delivers on it, he's going to present Doom with two options, one where Doom trusts Batman to be honorable and one where he does not, and when Doom chooses not to trust Batman, that's the trap.

And then, if it's something the Latverians truly need, Batman is going to deliver it anyway. Because all Doom had to do was ask.

Sorry. Inspiring picture. Ignore me.

At least I can take comfort in knowing my favorite heroine seemed to outlast
Superman , GL and Flash in taking on Doom.

As an aside, JB, I remember reading when you took over S-man that you drew his logo as two fish swimming in opposite directions?  This is the first time that I've "seen" it myself.

Wow! That's really, well done. Lots of texture to it. Doom's never looked so good.

Even though Doom took out these powerhouses... the way Batman is swooping in suggests that Doom's in a MESS of trouble!

This is just terrific.....
