I came across this Levi's ad and the model is wearing a t-shirt with John's Captain America on it.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I was hoping for a John Byrne Levi's ad, like Liefeld did.

Such a great image of Cap. Anyone know what the original was created for? Was it specifically created to feature in the bottom LH corner box on comics? (and does that box have a technical name? 'Corner box' sounds wrong as that's the iconic thing in the top left hand corner featuring the protagonist of the comic in question).

More importantly, is it available? Can't see it on the UK or US sites.

On SNL Weekend Update Thursday last night, Adam Sandberg did a bit wearing a JB Spider-Man T-shirt.

Looks like it's taken from the cover of Cap #290.

Good knowledge!

Good use of 'negative space' by JB as usual.

I see JB t-shirts quite a bit lately on kids and adults.  Gotta love it!
