I found an interesting item in my local library - a kid's book called Batman: The Copycat Crime. It's not a comic book per se; it's a children's book with a few comic book panels included as illustrations. And the art in question is by none other than JB! Devin Grayson is credited as the writer. The story involves Batman battling the Riddler. JB's art appears to be pulled from a previously published comic book. Where exactly did this story first appear?

No, I believe that the art by JB was done exclusively for this book as well as one other.

Ah, thanks for the info. I'm disappointed - I was hoping the art was from a JB Batman comic that I wasn't aware of, but could track down. The panels in the book I saw were a whole lot of fun.

The first cover, JB has written about it here on the forum, was changed by some very very smart person, so the intended space for the legs is going haywire. It was a nice insight into how to draw, so I hope you find the text if possible, especially if you are into drawing.

Yes, as you can see HERE, in my version Batman was not standing on the buildings in the background, or being elbowed in the crotch.Dog save us from Art Directors with Photoshop!

or being elbowed in the crotch. ------------------- But that would have been a very effective elbow thrown by The Riddler!

It would have been more fun if they had credited the writer as 'D. Grayson'

Will have to pick up those. My son has become a big Batman fan. He would love them.
