Good stuff JB. I gotta say, the way you've been drawing Batman in your commissions last few years, with the all black and white highlights, has really made the character yours.

Wow. Really love this especially the cape. Such intensity. As Vinny said I also think this would make an incredible bust. JB, if I may ask what did the commissioner request for this particular piece?

The cape and cowl remind me of Wrightson. The torso reminds me of Neal Adams. And the whole thing, of course, looks like Byrne. Congrats to whoever comissioned this piece -- it's a beauty!

What really amazes me is how great you are at drawing any Batman! Be it a more modern take like this or a more light-hearted Dick Sprang or Jerry Robinson style version you're able to capture the character perfectly! Great work, as always!

I like this one: overall I really enjoy the 3/4 solo pieces. What I particularly like: the light on his chin, the anatomy on the torso, the cool economy with which you have depicted his right fist and the 'iconic abstraction' (as Scott McCloud would have it) of the cape.

When I think of Batman, I tend to invision the blue/grey look with the yellow oval but I think JB has clearly established this look as his Batman! If/when I ever get a Batman piece, this is the look I want!
