Great commission.  A tip of my hat to whoever requested this one.  Nice to see the Silent Knight.  As a kid, I had one or two issues of Brave & Bold.  Silent Knight was my favorite of the characters therein, but Robin Hood and Viking Prince I also enjoyed (before the names "Russ Heath" and "Joe Kubert" meant anything to me).  I'd love to see all three series in Archives editions.  Maybe with the Atomic Knights headed that way, there's hope at least for the Viking Prince.

This one definitely goes into the jaw dropping category.

I love how the inking on the rock outcroppings makes them look like ice.  Super cool.

••

I was thinking more like black glass (sand fused by the heat of the dragon's flame) but, hey! Close enough!

That's a scary dragon.

I like the "heavy" inks on him.

Love the dragon!  What a great way to end the commission year.  This was an inspired choice of commission.

Great job, JB.  Congratulations to the commissioner!
