JB I noticed that you didn't include any images of YOUR Thing in your montage.

I can understand you not doing it for your own personal usage, but for the rest of us, it's inclusion is a given because for myself, yours is the quintessential THING!

Nice piece! I can't recall any other commissions that show Johnny on the ground.

I think the current explanation of Gladiator is that his powers are real, but they're dependent upon his self-confidence. Thus, the easiest way to beat him is still to make him doubt himself.

In the recent War of Kings story, Rocket Raccoon was able to delay Gladiator for a few minutes by convincing him he had a weapon that worked only on Strontians.

It was neat how JB kept the "pattern" on Ben's face pretty consistent.

I believe that Gladiators powers are psionic based again. Abnett and Lanning are presenting him that way in the work they are doing for M*****.

(I seem to recall taking FF #'s 249 & 250 into my middle school one too many times... I think my 5th grade teacher ended up confiscating them for a day, then sending them home with me along with a little note for The Mom!)

Excellent work JB! I don't think you have anything to worry about. Your still the king of rubble!

Great commission!

I agree that JB definitely draws the definitive Thing!!!  Though I am somewhat biased, as I believe JB draws the definitive version of most comic book characters.

Wait..so comic book charcaters aren't real? Then how do they make the handbooks up? I thought those were interview books.

Awesome picture JB.

I love seeing the Thing so popular.  Awesome piece JB.  Many different textures on this one: smoke, metal, Thing, Johnny, the cape, the shredding metal.  Great work and only getting better.
