NURSE JACKIE season 1.  Very funny.  I was tempted to wait until a few more seasons were complete, but I'm glad I didn't wait.

ALL IN THE FAMILY season 1, disc 1.  Amazon was running a good sale on the series, so I ordered the first four seasons.  Watching classic sitcoms like this always makes me feel like I'm revisiting old friends.  This one is especially poignant because Archie and Edith remind me enormously of my grandparents -- for good and bad.

I've been re-watching TOS, this time in the re-mastered versions....and there are no Greedo shoots first moments!  :)    My kids (10 and 7) both enjoyed "The Trouble with Tribbles" and "The Devil in the Dark", but I couldn't get them to sit through "Court-Martial".....too talky.

I was surprised at how bad "The Alternative Factor" was.  So badly scripted and edited!  But just about every other ep. holds up so well!  "The Doomsday Machine" and "Amok Time" were just as incredible as I remember. I love McCoy's speech to Spock in the jail cell in "Bread and Circuses"...great stuff.   TOS has to be my all-time favorite TV show.

I've recently re-watched Lost Season 1, and I liked that quite a bit.  I just caught the first season of Dexter a few weeks back and was surprised to find myself becoming a fan of this show----I usually steer clear of gore.

I've been rewatching ROME. I saw it as it originally aired, but my wife did not, so now we're watching it together. A brilliant show. I wish it had lasted longer.

I've rewatched most of TOS over the past few years, a few episodes at a time.
I agree that almost every episode is still very watchable. Some are absolute classics and most are still very very good. "The Alternative Factor," however, put me to sleep!

Make 'Em Laugh - Disc 1: Pretty good. Like that it is separated into categories rather than a chronological history.

Make 'Em Laugh, Disc 2 - Covered Slapstick and Rebels. The slapstick episode was hilarious, but the rebels one didn't really cover anything new to me.

Make 'Em Laugh, Disc 3 - Covered Wiseguys and Satire. I gotta check out some of those Marx Brothers movies, and even some of the Hope/Crosby buddy movies.

Soul Eater, Part One, Disc One - funny with a decent amount of action. Great animation and I like the style of the art direction.

Glee. Watched the first half of the season over the course of about a day. It's amazing what you can do when you don't have anything TO do.

We finished up the final season of BOSTON LEGAL.  Brilliant show.  Perfect series finale.  Don't know if David E. Kelley will be able to top his work on this show.  I already miss it!

I went back and watched the first disc of Series 1 of "Coupling", it still makes me laugh.  Steve's speech/rant at the dinner table in "Inferno" is great.

For a split-second I thought I had been transported to the Mirror Universe, when I suddenly remembered this was the TELEVISION thread!
