A good friend of my parents knew I was into comics and he gave me an "old box of comics from the attic." It contained about 100 Superman/Superboy books from the 1960s. All in pretty wretched shape.

Somehow, sitting in there in really good shape were (1960's) Silver Surfer #1, X-men #9 and Amazing Spiderman Annual #1.

Absolutely fantastic - true to the original in spirit but surpasses it entirely in detail and sense of action!
