Whatever means of perception they have would be the conduit through which they would interpret the corporeal form of Galactus.  An invisible alien race would still have means of perception.

Exactly. It's worth noting that JB's visualization of the many forms of Galactus includes many without armor. So it too would appear to be an interpretation of the beholder.

The notion of an invisible species is interesting. Back in one of his many unrealized newspaper strip concepts, Jack Kirby postulated an alien creature that was of a color that did not register on human eyes -- except that its eyes were visible, seeming to float in space.

Of course, an invisible race would have to have some means of perceiving each other, or reproduction, and therefore species survival, would become somewhat dodgy!
