Anyway, I'd like it if Pyro was both Gay AND British if possible. They aren't mutually exclusive any more than they are synonymous.
I thought he was Australian...

WOW. Not just the best commission I have ever seen but in my opinion, the best comic art I have seen in 20 years.! Maybe longer! Maybe 40 years, going back the Neal Adams work on X-Men. Nathan, you must be in heaven!

Beyond awesome! Perfect compliment to the classic FF poster. I'm imagining companion pieces featuring Spider-Man and his supporting cast/villains, Batman & friends/foes, Superman and his family of characters...

One fun fact about this piece: It now holds JB's record for most characters drawn in a single piece of art (as far as I know). The FF poster is in the low 60's -- I believe this one clocks in at 74 characters. I hope this piece will hold the record for some years to come!

All kinds of Wow on this piece!!! I don't know which I love more about this piece, that it is inspired by the FF pin up from years back or that it features the characters from John's run on X-men! I started reading X-men during that run (issue 112 to be exact) and stayed with it for years after that! They are still among my favorite issues of the series ever! I proudly had the FF poster on my bedroom wall as a teenager and I would proudly hang a print of this X-men pin up on my wall now as an adult!

A wonderful 'adaptation' of my favorite piece of JB art, the FF "Family Portrait"! The composition works brilliantly with the characters from his X-Men run. What a terrific commission idea, Nathan! Needless to say, JB knocked it out of the park.
As others have mentioned, the Avengers would be a natural pick for another run-specific "family portrait." Not the team's full roster -- especially since Perez has already done that a couple of times, notably with his 30th Anniversary poster and the cover of Volume 3, No. 1. Instead, JB's commission could include those members featured in JB's classic issues as Avengers artist in the 1970s (#164-166; 181-191), along with supporting characters and villains from same!
Of course, a ton of Avengers appeared in #181, so maybe the "roll call" syndrome is hard to avoid . . .
