JB, odd question for you, the time showing on his face, was that the time you finished the piece?•• It's the time on the reference I used. This being a DC "gimmick" character, and assuming the hands on his face don't actually move, panel to panel, I would not be surprised to find this is based on an old tradition of displaying watches in advertising and on signs with the hands set at 10:10 or 1:50. Evidently this was done to ensure the brand name of the watchmaker was nicely framed by the hands. (There is an "urban legend" that the hands are set to show the time Abraham Lincoln died, but since he died at 7:20am. . . )
