I immediately assumed that it was gray-toned marker!

The shading is a great 'extra' JB. It looks amazing.

Fantastic artwork.

And the characters are a great choice.  Nice to see them facing off.

O.K., the commissions just took another step in the evolution chain!  So John, would you welcome more opportunities to do more commissions like this one, which is AWESOME?

Interesting crossover and a great image.  Captain America fighting Deathstroke (now that's a truly descriptive comicbook name) it out in a classic crossover style.  Yes indeed, the drawing style does remind one of those great B&W magazines from back in the day.  Enjoy Christos!

The gray tones will be available -- with certain restrictions.

First, nothing larger than 11x17 inches.

Second, complete scenes only, no figures without backgrounds.

Third -- they COST more!

(Also, they will of course be subject to the same review/decline system as the other pieces.)

Wow! I love how the characters just pop right out of the piece!

That is one incredible commission.

Great idea of Captain America and Deathstroke going at it.

Love the gray tones.

Also, I always enjoy hearing about JB's early days in the comic industry.

That is all kinds of awesome.  A pretty cool pairing up of characters for this commission.  I love the inking on this especially the backgrounds.  Well done, JB!  Seriously one of my favorites here.

Congratulations Christos!  You can never go wrong with a Captain America by JB.
