Very nice.  Cool pose and always good to see a mid-week commission.  Well done, JB!

Stunning! I'm in awe of your ability to invent such graceful and dynamic poses! This feels like that moment at the pinnacle of a leap where she is hovering for a fraction of a second before the descent.

Who is this character?

••

The Black Widow, in her first actual costume.

This costume looks so much better than the black one to me.

Mr. Byrne, great job as always, you never cease to amaze! Thank you very much, love the way she's planning her descent, almost debating on landing on someone or something.

Dave.

I felt sure for once I had guessed with JB's hint. I expected Namor.

Glad you like her, Dave!

For those keeping track, I think this may only be the second time I have drawn this particular version of the Widow. Unless this one was lurking in the background of some flashback panel I have forgotten!

The other time was in Jim Warden's monster Avengers piece from last year.

Nice commission.  Congrats to the owner!

Does anyone know who designed this costume?  I seem to remember Don Heck drawing it first but I am not sure if he designed it.  I remember a full page pin-up in an Avengers Annual ( ? ).

Great commission.  I particularly LOVE the way the hands and gloves are done.  So perfect.
