Looks great JB. Can't wait to read it. I'm getting so tired of superhero stuff. The only superhero stuff I read is Green Hornet Year One and Kato origins-both period pieces. All my other comic reading is sci-fi/fantasy stuff as well as Next Men and Northlanders.

JB:  "Four, then four more, then four more, then four more. . . . ."

****

Very good news to my ears - I like these four issue arcs.  I know they are a regular occurrence in comic publishing these days. but I was introduced to the four issue arc through JB's Next Men.  So when JB's Star Trek and Jurassic Park work followed this pattern, it felt like a homecoming.

JB, knowing that you are working on this new series right this minute, I have a request!

PLEASE include a death trap escape.*

...and fist fights.

...ooh, and a car chase!

...and 'SPLOSIONS!!!

* I absolutely loved CREW for the certain-death cliffhanger type situations you put her through.
(I'm already excited for this book, and I really appreciate the black & white edition idea. Good thinking)

JB:  "Plans at present, by the way, for a black & white 'alternate' edition of the first issue, as well as the regular color version."

****

I am so in for this - I like that IDW has been printing the covers in B&W, but this is even better.  I've been casual about getting the black and white covers on recent books, but I will hunt down a full issue.

That first page reminds me equal parts of Funeral in Berlin (Michael Caine movie based on Len Deighton´s spy novel) and Billy Wilder´s ONE, TWO, THREE, starring James Cagney.

It will be fun to see a JB character find his way among James Bond, Harry Palmer, George Smiley and co.!

++++++++++

Boy, I wish you´d do some shoot-from-pencils pages every now and then! Perhaps for flashbacks...

Very cool, and nothing I would've guessed. I'll check this out.
