From Bleeding Cool.com

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2011/07/07/uk-to-publish-death-o f-spider-man-three-months-early-and-john-byrnes-hidden-years /

The first seven issues of JB's X-Men: The Hidden Years is going to be reprinted in digest format in the UK...but not in the US?  Well, anything that gets JB's work in front of ANY new eyes is a good thing, far as I'm concerned.

Amazon UK gets the description accurate as well:  "expertly crafted by legendary comic book creator John Byrne."

Yes!! Great UK Panini! Thanks to them I'm able to get some collected books I couldn't buy otherwise. I'm heading to Amazon right now.

I wonder how many of the other X-Men books that didn't get cancelled when Hidden Years was around are being reprinted.  I am guessing none.

Great stuff, I had been toying with buying the back issues but I'll be getting this now.

Also, that was my first visit to bleedingcool.com......having been on their forum I never ever want to go back!

I'm in!  Love that series - as with Neal Adams and Tom Palmer's run on the book, it was over too soon.

Another JB UK-exclusive edition (alongside The Marvel Art of John Byrne, which I already own). JB is still very popular overseas! Maybe that's because there is no Direct Market and comics are sold in newsstands, bookstores and other regular venues...

Wish it was full-sized, though. Or an Omnibus, the whole series would fit in a single volume!
