Every once in awhile, when I am using Google's image search, I come across something cool, other than what I was seeking. I came across the following cool picture:

Fred Hembeck's version of JB's Fantastic Four stories (#251 - 275).

I assume that's JB, and not Fred, riding along (or trying to) with the Silver Surfer.

It's posted on the Mid-Ohio Con blog site, and was commissioned by fellow JB fan, James Henry. He also posts on the blog about a visit to JB's house:

A Visit To John Byrne's Studio.

Cool stuff!

I also found some cool JB artwork at this blog, midway down the page:

Older JB art.

Go Hembeck!

I've never seen that one.  Fantastic stuff.  What is it about Hembeck that always makes me smile?

A Hembeck commission and a visit to JB's house. I can't think of two things that could be cooler.

I'm starting to wonder what a John Byrne take on a Fred Hembeck page would look like!

Leigh, this was the only one I saw. James Henry said in his blog that he commissioned Hembeck to do his take on the characters from "Fantastic Four"#251 thru #275 because that was his favorite run on the title.

That's really cool Matt, thanks for sharing.

Further down the blog in the second link Matt posted is all those cool
jam pieces that seem to pop up from time to time.
I go thru a lot to get a piece that has JB, Curt Swan and Jack Kirby
artwork. Talk about heaven.
