11" x 17" illo of Wolverine and Sasquatch, no backgrounds.Details: - Wolverine in jeans and leather jacket ala the cover of X-Men # 141 - please draw each character standing and looking menacing Slight goof on this one. In the customer's favor! I forgot to trim the extra couple of inches off the top of the sheet when I took it from the bristol pad, so this is somewhat more than 17 inches high.

Oh this is just awesome! Something about the texturing in this one, particularly in Wolverines clothes. He looks incredibly lived in.

Nice, I've always liked how you draw Wolverines claws popping out of his fists with no gloves....

Very nice! Even out of costume, you do Wolverine just right. Every time.

Seconding Brad's comment, Logan's pants especially have a real Kubert feel to them, nice.

The textures on this one were achieved with a combination of tools. The faces and Wolverine's hands and claws I did with the PITT XS pen, then I switched to a real brush for the holding lines on his figure and Sasquatch's fur. That done, I picked up a PITT S pen (not sure what the "S" stands for!), which I find has a slightly "mushy" tip, and produces, therefore, a somewhat brush like line. I used that to add the finer feathering/modeling to Logan's clothes.

Note that in the panel Bill posted, Chris' dialog indicates that Wolverine's claws were something ADDED to him. He references them and the adamantium skeleton separately. So, clearly the idea of "bone claws" as a part of his mutation hadn't found its way into anybody's head yet.

I'd love to see a series or one-shot with these characters, perhaps involving the Wendigo.
