Wow I was not expecting to see that when I opened this thread.  That is so cool and came out great.  I am pretty excited about this series.  Man, I love what JB and IDW are doing together.

Nice!

One problem, the drivers are sitting on the wrong side! ;)

Excellent cover!  That is a curve ball I did not see coming - what  great idea.  It reminds me of the Shakespeare poster you did  for a local theater group, JB.

Really a nice surprise.  I love it.

I can't remember a series quite like this and I haven't even read the first issue.

Here's a (very) quick and dirty mock-up I did to try out the copy placement.

Those lines behind the logo are the remnants of the British flag from the mock-up I did for the first issue cover. Like I said, VERY quick and dirty!

Mouse. I have not been able to find my "comfort level" with a stylus.

My wife used to say that using a digital pen was like drawing with your feet. I, on the other hand, can't live without my Wacom Intuos tablet. Once I got used to it, it's no different than picking up a pencil. When I first used one, there was an initial disconnect with looking at the screen instead of my hand while drawing, but that went away fairly quickly. For me it was the cure to mouse-clicking induced carpal tunnel, so I use it for everything, not just to draw.  Paired with the pressure-sensitive pencils, inks, chalks, etc. in Corel Painter, it makes for one sweet .  I also have a Cintiq tablet where you draw directly on the screen, which in theory should be more intuitive, but I find the heat of the tablet on my hand can be annoying and so I mostly stick to the the regular one instead.
