Is Bill claiming victory, or just pointing out that the auction has ended?

Anyway, I find myself wondering what the bidding would have gone like if the characters had been in their more familiar costumes!

Great catch, Bill. It IS a wonderful drawing. Love the spotting of the
blacks, Wolverine's arms, for instance.

In the older version, I get the impression that Wolverine is pissed to be
