Very cool.
I vote for Black w/ blue highlights and White -- kind of like the colors you
gave the FF on your run.

Before one joined Alpha Flight, you wore a "school uniform" in Gamma Flight.

I would guess like Reed's. That's the "standard" male mask and I don't see why Johnny would require anything else?

I was thinking Johnny's mask would be the standard issue -- tho I could easily see him with a "topless" mask, like the Angel's. Not that that would make much difference when he was aflame. (Some, I know, will draw the Torch with "flaming hair", but I rather think Kirby got it right.)

JB is a mad genius!•• Mayhaps, but if so it's been a long, hard road. YE GODS that ALPHA FLIGHT sample looks TERRIBLE! Bad drawing, bad inks! And yet THIS is part of the period people point to when they say "his old stuff was better". AARRGGHH!!!!!!!

The scan that Nathan posed is definitely not as bad as the original page for
AF#1 - looks like he grabbed it from the TPB, which apparently did a
terrible scan job (or Nathan could have scanned it badly, but I kinda doubt
that). I don't recall Jeffries' face being so smooshed in the original. Just look
at how jagged the large letters in the background are!
