Shadowflame has had at least 3 appearances. (Just saying) :D•• Okay -- I can think of two. The Superman/Hulk tussle, and the single figure shot that was part of the "set" of your characters. Which was the third?

The character count is an interesting way of having character head to heads.
Where else can JJ kick Robin's arse?

Yeah, but if I count that, don't I have to count covers I have done for Marvel, and DC, and IDW, and. . . well, don't I have to count ALL the published artwork?

Moving my Batman comment from the Krakoa commission thread, since it's more appropriate here:
Batman's count is interesting, considering how he has no real comic book run associated with the character (though Generations does come close to fitting the bill). Clearly, I'm not alone (2 of that count came from me) in thinking that JB draws one of the best Batmans out there!

JB: So far only Danger Unlimited have made it onto a commission, from my creator-owned stuff, and there only one.---
That would be mine! I'm surprised there hasn't been a DU vs. FF commission yet... that's a request I've considered many times...
Jim Warden once brought up a Doom Patrol vs. DU commission to me (many moons ago)... I thought that was a pretty cool idea too.

How would "commissioning a full length comic book" work into the Character Count?? Seems like characters on the list could take a MASSIVE jump forward!

How would "commissioning a full length comic book" work into the Character Count?•• When I first started the list, I counted each APPEARANCE of a character. So, if, say, Wolverine appeared five times in a montage piece, he got five •s. That quickly became cumbersome, so I cut it back to counting only the number of COMMISSIONS. Thus, a full length comic would count as a single commission, or one • for each character who appeared in it.

I wonder what the count of Dark Phoenix vs Phoenix is? •• I've debated whether I should list them separately, as I list Marvel Girl separately. Perhaps this query is my impetus to do so!

In another thread comments made about a younger you having no idea about doing covers like you do today, something to that effect.
Has me thinking My dog! Can you imagine JB if your skill then was what it is today. How different things would have been.
