1" x 17" commission request featuring Thing, Wolverine, Hawkeye, and Puck. The scene is an old "Yancy Street-style" bar. The characters are meeting for 'after work' beers and cigars.   The bar is in shambles and through the destruction, you can see the street outside in a similar condition. In essence, this would be like a Pg. 23 of Everybody vs. Galactus, with friends (amidst the destruction) celebrating the defeat of their foe.

Details are:

- Please focus more on the characters than the rubble. - customer prefers landscape format, but you make the call

Please draw all characters with masks on and no damage to costumes, specifics are:

- Thing - (rocky version, your choice of trunks)
- Hawkeye - Classic costume with details of your choice (no stogie for Clint)
- Puck - 1st costume, showing body hair
- Wolverine - Brown costume.

(How tempted was I to follow thru on Jim's typo in the dimensions...?)

Full sized image off to Dan for the Gallery, as usual.

I need time to digest, this looks SO much better than I envisioned.  Wow.

While I can still type, thank you JB and to Jim!

----

Would this cost 1/11th of your normal commission fee?

Incidentally, this gives Wolverine his fourth line on the Character Count chart.

After reading the customer description I thought there's no way man, that's gonna look too jumbled. There won't be enough space for anything to look big/good enough.

John Byrne. I don't know how he does it.

This is a Great commission. Well done Chief.
Again, the Marvel Universe lives here.

Congrats, Ryan.

So much detail to absorb but what can one expect after a fight like that. Really love the way JB draws Hawkeye.

Oh man.....!!!!!

This might be my new favorite of 2012.  If not it's at least neck and neck with EC Does It.  Once I study the larger scan I'll post more detailed comments....incredible!

Yeah, really need to see the larger version to properly take this one in. Looks pretty good from here though.

I always admire the way you deal with the thorny problem of getting everyone's faces visible while keeping them interact with each other and not just staring at the 'camera'.

Looking at this reduced version I keep seeing an optical illusion of seeing the Bat symbol in the lightshade above Hawyeye's head.
