Think George Perez must have been in his 'throw in the kitchen sink' mode with that one.•• I'm a big fan of the Gil Kane school of costume design, where costume elements follow the anatomy lines of the body. That's my biggest beef with this Wonder Man suit -- too much of it seems to go AGAINST the lines of the body. This was early days for George tho. Many of his later designs are quite brilliant.

This costume works ok in B&W, I'll say that.
I liked this character best in civilian clothes.
It's the name WONDER MAN that somewhat bugs me.

I love Wonder Man with Danny Kaye.

What I like most about this one is the variation of line weight!

JB: 'This was early days for George tho. Many of his later designs are quite brilliant' Oh I agree, the vast majority of George's costume designs are so elegantly beautiful. Like Flavio said, this one actually looks better in B&W.

Great piece JB! I really like how you drew the tearing metal. Very dynamic.
My favorite outfit for Wonder Man is probably the one you inherited for AVENGERS WEST COAST. Just ditch the mullet and give him back his glasses.
