Those first two pages are spectacular!  I didn't read them or go beyond them.

I've learned to not check the previews - I'd rather read it all in one shot.

Jeez. If that first page doesn't get snapped up by a collector immediately, I'll be shocked. What a lovely pose.

Wow, I love those images of the Greenery and the page in white
reminds me of THX1138.

Great!
Every new Next Men piece I see, it feels like it's 1992 again, and I love that Byrne early 90's period very much.
Thanks for bringing it back in some way.

I didn't look for more than one second. And that was only the tiny thumbnails. Honest !

Incredible! Those inks (and pencils) on that double page spread are amazing. I like that you can see some of the tones within the inks in places, rather than making them completely black. Really adds a richness.

Since this is the discussion thread, here's a look at the cover:

I'm avoiding the preview, so the cover is all I have to go on.  A very cool cover, JB - you know how to torture your readers with curiosity!

An advantage to doing my own scans -- and one I discovered quite accidentally. If I scan (or adjust) for absolute black, the lines and edges tend to pixelate, so I leave it a bit "softer".

(WTF??? My spellchecker does not recognize "pixelate"!!)

And, once again, credit where credit is due. I was struggling to find a suitably strong graphic for the last cover, and hadn't found it when Chris Ryall needed art for the previews. So he whipped this together, and when I saw it, I realized I could not possibly do better!
