Congrats Adam! I start my 39th on the 14th.

DETECTIVE COMICS #12- Tony Daniel will be leaving soon but he's done a good job with this book.

EARTH 2 #4- This one keeps me interested with the "world building" concept but make me care for the characters and we'll have something to work with.

JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL #12- I guess today's reader just doesn't want classic superhero action. I'm thinking the whole "Justice League" angle works against the team.

STORMWATCH #12- The last issue of my 52% off deal so I'm don't necessarily have to continue after this issue but I'd like to so i hope this one is good.

WORLDS FINEST #4- I've really liked this one.

GODLAND #36- I bought this title when it first started, lost interest and in the time between issues got interested again, so I'm hoping to get this one.

DAREDEVIL #16- When will Marvel decide to put more books out like this.

HAWKEYE #1- I won't dismiss this outright but I'm probably not going to buy it. I liked the creative team when they did Iron Fist but I'm not a big Fraction fan. Will we get Iron Fist and the first few issues of his Thor run or will we get his X-Men and Iron Man? Plus I'm not convinced that anyone at Marvel knows how to write Clint Barton anymore.

If Roger Stern is writing the Point One issue, I'll probably pick that up.

BEASTS OF BURDEN NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH ONE SHOT - I've enjoyed all of
the other BoB books, sooo...

WORLDS FINEST #4 - I like the George Perez-drawn stuff that takes place in
the present. I could do without the flashback sequences handled by that
other guy.

What the heck is up with MUDMAN?!?

Wallace,

Didn't Paul Grist say in his letters page that he was going to get on a better schedule with the book? I don't think he's following through.

I believe so, Shawn. It's a shame because I enjoyed the first four issues.

ACTION COMICS #12 - Good issue. And my suspicions about Clark's
landlady are proving to be accurate. Kind of...

EARTH 2 #4 - Loving this book so far!

WORLDS' FINEST #4 - This one, too!

HYPERNATURALS #2 - Not bad. Still need some convincing. Another
issue or two...

As to Grist's lateness: this has been an issue for him for years. He was working to fix it way back when he was working on Kane, and every couple of years he says he has a plan to improve his output, and then the schedule slides again.

Can't imagine that he makes a living wage on his comics work, so he must be busy with other things to make ends meet.

Love his work, just wish I could see it more frequently.

Not new, but new to me. I've picked up a few B.P.R.D. trade paperbacks over
the past week.

Anybody a fan of the Mignolaverse? What am I in for? I'm only sort of familiar
with Hellboy (from his Next Men appearance and the first limited series).
