The standout for me is Wolverine, but all of the characters look simply perfect. The waves are brilliant! This is amazing.

I know it is a lot of characters but still amazing how well laid out the piece is and how full of art as well.•• I've noted before that the "trick" I've discovered to pieces like this is to start with the largest or most space filling character (such as Sasquatch, here, or Angel if I was drawing the original X-Men), and once that character has defined his/her silhouette, then think about how the other characters can best occupy the space around/in front of her/him.

Beautiful... so much to love in this one!! All the characters look great, Wolverine and Puck are my favs, I particularly like how you drew the shoreline.
I was SHOCKED to find out it wasn't for Ryan!

I particularly like how you drew the shoreline.•• Thanks. It's amusing to me to note that in the mumblety-mumble years since I drew the reference piece, my water has gotten a good deal more "active", but the basic technique (my poor attempt at imitating Wally Wood) has remained the same!

Fun commission!! Love seeing super heroes with smiles. I agree with Bill on the "little things" making the image great. There is always some kind of story, action or visual incite that makes JB's stuff grand.

Gorge. Ous. I like the original, but this is 10 times better. It's ridiculous how you can just keep getting better and better. I think you better stop before you accidentally open a door to another universe. Wait. No. That would be awesome. Don't stop.
