This scene has been commissioned a few times now, and it always seems fresh and exciting.  This might be my favorite appearance of Nightcrawler in a commission yet.  A big congrats to the owner and thanks for sharing!

Can never go wrong with a Savage Land commission. Really like Nightcrawler and Cyclops.

Wow, I love this one...probably my favorite of all the Savage Land pieces.  Wolverine and Storm look especially good.

Gorgeous!
Rich in detail, easy on the eyes, packed and easy to read.
Just gorgeous.

I love seeing Wolverine's boots presented so believably here. I think you and Paul Smith are the only artists who make those boots look spectacular to me. They're an odd design which somehow becomes AWESOME in your hands.

Simply stunning! I love the "story" on the page. Of course there is the now iconic Wolverine slash on Sauron, but seeing Nightcrawler teleporting away from a lethal chomp is pure comic book. I love it!!

Hey JB,
How many hours did this take in total? From layout to detail, it's mind-boggling.

I like the way these have so much going on that the eye wanders around and finds little surprises. The first thing you see is Wolverine fighting Sauton, and then the rest of the X-Men, it took me a while to think 'wow, that's a really cool Dinosaur in the bottom left... what's he biting?' and then see it was where Nightcrawler was a moment ago.

This is my favourite version of Cyclops' costume and he looks great here.

Shrakt! Take that, dinosaur!

I have the same reaction seeing JB's commissions that I did from the Kirby pages on the other thread--just sheer joy.
