Hi guys and thanks so much, Andrew messaged me this was here and I am so touched by it. As Mike guessed, this has indeed been a very hard birthday, everyone has been so very kind and supportive, it has honestly touched my heart. Special occasions are days you want to be with those you love and when you lose the person closest to you, it is just so hard. But when you have kids, you realize their life is so connected to yours, you just can not let the sadness win.
My new life is very busy and I don't get a lot of time to wallow in self pity, which is good. I really like my new job and it has been wonderful working with the public again. Being at the bank, allows me a chance to get to know my customers well and I have met some really great people. My co workers surprised me with a Harry Potter themed birthday celebration which was so cool. My dad bought me the Toys R Us Ewok 5 pack, so I was pretty excited about that. And I got to visit with Jon on the phone and spend an evening with my brother, his wife, my dad and Jackson, playing euchre.
Matt thanks for starting this thread, you are a good guy!!
