My entry for the FF redesign contest on Project Rooftop. My good friend Marcos provided colors, which I have no skills or equipment to do.

I posted this months ago:

These were my sketches of Cheetah Man and his arch nemesis Death Smash created by my (then) 6 year old nephew.  Inspired by what Ethan Nicolle has done with his younger brother and AXE COP I've been working on a comicbook with my nephew for the last month or so (I've been watching him for about 3-4 hours a day so it has given us time to collaborate!).  It's been a ton of fun and I thought I would share it here!

Here's the cover which I also shared before:

Thanks, Jeff! It was fun trying to do something finished like this instead of the usual sketching! I'm enjoying a bit of guache nowadays too, thanks to my daughter! :-)

I had another sketch that I completed this morning, but I felt that it wasn't quite worksafe enough (girl in loungerie with a blanket draped over her shoulders), so I did this.

Just read the Avengers: The Korvac Saga TPB this week and had The Vision on the brain.

Thought I'd tool around with his costume a bit.  Took some of JB's influence, mixed it with a touch of the original costume and maybe a hint of the Spectre.

A couple of months back, I made plans to do a series of pinups to add to my DeviantART.com gallery.  After a bit of a delay, I finally worked up the courage to make a pencil layout of the second one...

Since the full image isn't worksafe, this is a cropped copy giving away just enough to let you see what I'm drawing.

Looking at Mikael and David, I can say that they're even closer to landing a pro gig than I'll ever be.  Even the sketches look better than mine.

The latest update on my (not-worksafe) pinup has me completing the inking phase:

Note the ugly blotch on the lady's left shoulder.  That was an unintential drop of ink that ended up there while I was shifting the paper around for a better angle on another spot ("God damn it!"), which I tried rather half-heartedly to cover up with an old tube of white acrylic.  Good thing I could clean it up digitally using the Corel Paint Shop Pro X4 program.
