An early start today!11" x 17" illo of She-Hulk wearing her Fantastic Four costume, no backgrounds. The details are: - please draw She-Hulk smiling in a pose of your choice - please draw her hairstyle similar to how you drew it on the cover of Fantastic Four # 282

That lock of hair has a very subtle effect on Jennifer's face, which I discovered the few times I drew her in the comics without it. With that element falling across the bridge of her nose, there is an unconscious tendency to draw her eyes somewhat wider apart than would normally be the case. This gives an almost subliminal distinctiveness to her look, which goes away when the lock is removed and her eyes move into a more coventional position.(Art Lesson #137: Generally speaking, the distance between the eyes is the width of one eye.)

You nailed it, JB! The hair is perfect and there is just enough smile.
Does this early start mean we might see an extra drawing today? :-)

Does this early start mean we might see an extra drawing today? :-)•• Real life is "intruding" on me today, so no. This is, in fact, the same reason the commission I posted yesterday wasn't finished last weekend.

Unless you are married, I don't see how a dates can be an intrusion.

Love this. Especially like the fact that, despite being about seven feet tall, Jennifer doesn't look lanky, even in that pose.
You've nailed her proportions (as expected!).
