20" x 30" illustration of Batman vs. six villains; the details are: - Batman in Adams/Aparo costume with oval around bat on chest - please include the following villains: Clayface (mudball version as drawn in 2008 Batman vs. villains commission), Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Two Face - please include two additional villains; your choice from the following following: Black Mask, Ventriloquist, Scarecrow, Man-bat

- background: Gotham's rooftops at night (lots of black ink!)

- no preference for the orientation

Not being familiar with Killer Croc, I did a websearch and basically came up with as many different versions of the character as there have been artists who've drawn him. So I went for a kind of synthesis of all of 'em!

I like how Man-Bat`s wings frame the scene.

Awesome piece, JB.  Looks like Batman is having a hallucination to me.

Can someone explain the title to me?

Oh man.  I'm really loving this one and this is probably one of my favorite commissions EVER.

Seeing JB draw the Ventriloquist w/ Scarface and Killer Croc is something I've wanted to see for quite a long time time. He nails them. Love the Clayface, Poison Ivy, and everyone else.

Someone is really lucky today, and I'm really jealous.

JB this one is a grand slam.

Man, I bet Batman wishes he didn't answer that ad!

Well done JB, congrats to the owner of this awesome commission!

LOVE it! Man-Bat looks downright scary in this one. Cool.

(Wilson, I believe the title is a goof on an old Bob Randall play, 6 Rms Riv Vu.  The only reason I know that is because my wife was once in a local production of said play!)

And lest I forget:  Typically awesome commission.  I've had a fondness for Man-Bat for almost as long as I can remember!

Yes and no. The play title was in "real estate ad shorthand" -- and so is my title.

Wow, incredible commission.  Very much getting an Aparo vibe--especially in Poison Ivy's face.
