This commission makes me yearn for a BATMAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 from JB.

••

Me too!! Every once in a while I still get the urge to just go ahead an DO it, and post it in the Fan Fic section here in the Forum!

Wow. What a great piece.

When I read the description and saw Golgotha, I was crossing my fingers that Red Skull would be showing up as that has been a team up I've longed to see JB draw. I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

Still, this is an amazing piece and someone is quite the lucky person today.

And, really, how many commission requests do you get for Hitler? :)

I suppose I am quite the Lucky Person today - yes, it's mine.  When JB said he had one more 20 x 30 to do this week, I was hoping it was mine! The Bat/Cap JB book is one of my all-time favorites - so I wanted to commission a double page splash from the "sequel."  Even if it only lives in our dreams.   Once again, far better than the picture in my head!  Thanks so much, JB!

(Ghostly voice):  John Byrne, I am that little voice inside your head.  Follow your impulses….  Especially your Batman and Captain America ones….

Amazing!  Nothing to dislike here and plenty to love.  Couple favorites are Golgotha's helmet being smashed by Captain America (who's also great) & the work on Per Degaton.  So much detail on both his expression & pose.  Probably my favorite part.

And, all though fan fic it'd be, it would be nice to see Captain America in a new adventure again, even if "unofficial".

I really miss Cap. He was a favorite as a youngster, and he's pretty far off base these days. He's barely even a super-hero. He's "super-soldier in a costume." That may be fine for some, but it's not what I liked out of the character.

Nazis are a cowardly, superstitious lot...

Really like that chunky chain that Cap is swinging in on and how all of it busts the panel. Can't wait to see the large scan in the gallery -- so much detail in the background to pore over.

Love it.

I also love when a commissioner says "your choice" to JB...!

Very nice!! This is almost like a commission that has been sitting in my "drafts" for a long time. Congrats to you, Larry!!!
