20" x 30" illo of Batman and Captain America vs. several Nazi bad guys. The setting is a Nazi stronghold of your choice and the details are:

- landscape format
- include lots of carnage with plenty of Nazi paraphernalia being destroyed (i.e., Nazi banners, machinery, etc.)

Heroes:

- draw Captain America and Batman as in your Batman & Captain America One Shot

Nazi Bad-Guys:

- Golgotha
- your choice of Captain Nazi, Baron Blitzkrieg, or Master Man (Captain America, Batman, Golgotha, and your villain choice are the main characters). Also please include Hitler and one or two JSA villains (Per Degaton and/or, Brain Wave) as obvious Hitler henchmen. Hitler can be looking panicked/terrified or perhaps screaming at his henchmen as if to say “do something!”

Full sized scan on its way to Dan, as usual!

I'm not a violence enthusiast, most of the time; but I love seeing Master Man getting punched in the face!  Awesome Scene!  I can't wait for Cap/Bat II!  In my dreams!

Wait a minute.  Epaulets?  Is that Master Man?  Whatever.  I love seeing Nazis get punched in the face!

Right, Captain Nazi, the Fawcett (later DC) villain who was pretty obviously the inspiration for Master Man.

This is just perfect! Love the look of the chain that Captain America is swinging in on--just looks like it has real weight. The gun flying out, the perfect look on the face of Hitler, the incredible detail yet everything is clear. I say it over and over, but I can't help myself--I get more joy from seeing any one of JB's commissions than I do from a month of comics. The composition, lighting, ink work---This is a master at his craft, showing what only the rarest of legends can do. Just incredible.

Nice one! I hope our heroes don't forget about Red Skull just around the corner!

Nazi's make the best villains. Great commission!

Nazi's make the best villains.

••

Ain't that the truth! I suppose it springs from the fact that, no matter how outrageously we portray them, with skulls for heads or riding around in giant robots, there is always that hint of "reality" to make them extra scary.

Ok, who other than JB could even attempt this commission?  Awesome execution as usual...
