I probably never would have guessed that the tones were PITT instead of pencil if you hadn't said so.

••

One of the things I am liking about the PITT gray pens is that they give a very "pencil-y" finish without the potential for mess. And they are very "adaptable". There are only three gray pens, plus the black, at work in this piece.

We talked about what was in those panels as well as another huge point back in the Reading Club.

Spoiler at the bottom of page 2 and beyond (and not so well hidden after the website was reformatted).

Working on this piece reminded me of this. . .

. . . and my snarky™ remark when I first saw it, that Mac might have stood a better chance of surviving if he'd worn his battlesuit under his costume!

Hah, thanks for linking to that Ryan, which backs up what I'm saying here with things I've said 5 (!!!!) years ago!

At least I don't have to say, "I want to read that story!", but I may have to reread it.

Wow

Love how the grey tones add to the sombre mood of the piece.

The one work absolutely make this one shine. My god that's beautiful stiff. I love Heather's sweater. The tech on Mac's suit is especially cool. You're the best at that, JB, and the tones make it look that much better.

Kudos, JB, on a job VERY well done, and congrats Vinny. You've got one for the ages.
