Am I crazy for wanting you to do this as a 3-4 page autobiographical comic called 'The Poe Report?'

And now the bad news.

There has been neither sight nor sound of Poe since he took off down the stairs to the Studio, now some twenty hours ago. I have searched the house top to bottom eight or nine times, checking all of Florence's favorite hiding places, and more. Even looked outside for footprints in the snow, tho it's nearly impossible that he could have gotten out. Practically dismantled the Studio, the guest room, every room, really. No trace.

The absence of any sounds is particularly disturbing, as he was proving quite vocal toward the end of yesterday.

Really missing the days when I could say "Where's Florence?" to Sam, and off he'd go!

Hope for the best. We've had a few cats go "missing" for a day inside the house. Tore the place apart looking and went to bed worried, only to have them pop up out of nowhere the next day. Still no clue where their secret hideouts were..

Yeah I hope all is ok. My cat has definitely vanished for most of a day before.

I hope Poe turns up soon. Cats are pretty resourceful,  I wouldn't be surprised if he just shows up out of the blue.

Principally, my concern is that since, so far as I can tell, he has not eaten or drunk anything since Wednesday, he is in danger of serious dehydration.

When in doubt, open a can of tuna fish.  Lost cats tend to reappear fast when they smell tuna.

I agree with the tuna bit... I also tend to pour a bowl of dry cat food and rattle it around the house (or yard) when our own cat makes a disappearance.  9 times out of 10 he comes running within a minute.

Hope Poe shows up again soon!

Years ago I brought a young kitty home and he disappeared for days inside of a drop ceiling that he could jump into from a gap where it met a tall window well. Black cats are the worst to find.

Good luck and I hope he shows up soon.

Tuna fish is not something I normally keep in the larder, and would require a trip to the grocery story -- not currently an option thanks to Nemo.
