Found a mostly shining review of "Strange New Worlds" that still managed to raise my eyebrow at one point. After a few paragraphs of generously forgiving the book's visual flaws (there are more than a few!) and complimenting the writing and story, the reviewer then states that he "wouldn't want to read a photonovel every month." But offers no reason WHY! And, come on! That's the part I'd really be interested in knowing about!

Here we are, a little over a month shy of the first anniversary of my beginning this thread, and this morning I shipped off to Chris Ryall some seventy new pages. The "evolution" of this project has been brisk, to say the least. From "fanfic" to Paramount approved one-shot, to ongoing series!

Well I purchased Strange New Worlds on Comixiology and discovered that reading comics on a 24" screen from four feet away while leaningback in an office chair is no longer a thing I can do well.   :(

Stupid stupid 42 year old eyes.

Here's another "set" for a planned story.

Fun part of this one, building my own version of one of those "computer modules" that showed up from time to time.

Originally, I intended the black rectangles in the overhead panels to be just place-holders, but I like the look, so I'm keepin' 'em!
