Every time JB posts one of his amazing drawings of Cap, it solidifies my already strong belief that artists should go back to drawing him with shirt fabric stretched over chain mail (or chain mail sewn into the shirt) as opposed to the more recent trend of rendering all of those exposed plates.

I definitely agree with Wallace -- no "feathers" on Captain America, please!
Love this!

My god, that's amazing. I would give almost anything to see a JB written and drawn Captain America monthly series. He just "gets" Cap so much more than anyone else.
Wallace...seldom wrong, and right again.

I love the look of that right glove -- really feels like thick leather pulled over a hand within, the way the folds have been depicted, even round the knuckle and the way it bulges out just below the elbow. I also like the shadow cast by the shield. And the look on Cap's face --determined!

Very nice indeed!
That's the Cap I grew up with. Great choice, commissioner. Thanks for sharing.
