11" x 17" reimagining of the cover to She-Hulk # 4, the details are:

- please recreate the original scene as much as possible (She-Hulk in fun house with Golden-Age guest start approaching)

- substitute Wonder Woman (in Golden-Age costume as shown in Generations) for Blonde Phantom

- include logo, corner box, price, and word balloons but not UPC box or text in bottom box

- above your signature, please personalize "To ****, from Jen and John Byrne" (or something similar, it is to be a wedding gift)

And here's the original, for comparison. . .

Had one of those Moments, adding the date to this one. Every so often I'm reminded that I first used Roman Numerals on HIDDEN YEARS, in 2000. So that's 13 years ago already!!

Your She-Hulk is quite simply the best there is, JB!

Once again, this is the sort of cover that creates a genuine interest in reading the comic inside, if only it were possible. How would the WWII WW respond to a modern woman of Jen's time? How would Jen react to WW and her Amazon philosophies? What will Wonder Woman do when she finds that the populations of all the other planets in our solar system have mysteriously vanished, as if they were never there?

The setting is fun as well. From a certain point of view, Jen was an 80's and 90's era funhouse mirror reflection of the original Wonder Woman.

Working on this piece reminded me of one of the odder moments of my career.

When I brought back the Blonde Phantom, I had Weezi, her civilian self, explain that she and her husband had grown old, he actually dying, because they had not been in comic books for years. She told Jen that she would not have to worry about aging as long as she was appearing in comics.

Not long after this issue came out, I saw a discussion of aging in comics, in CBG, and Weezi's explanation was actually cited as if it was meant to be "real"!

One of those times when I felt that all of fandom really, really, really needed to take a couple of big steps back!

This is amazing! The recreation portion is spot on. However, adding Woder Woman to the piece was an inspired choice by the commissioner. Absolutely adore this commission.

I have a soft spot for your re-imaginings JB, they always bring a cool twist to classic (and maybe not so classic)covers.
